AAPT today announced a relief package for those customers affected by the recent storms in New South Wales and Victoria. AAPT’s package means that we will credit any call forwarding charges from an AAPT home phone to another fixed line or mobile phone, for all AAPT customers in the affected areas.
This offer is available to AAPT customers who call in before the 30th September, 2007 and will include all call forwarding charges incurred in June and July 2007. Customers should call 135 005 between the hours of 8am and 6pm if they are eligible for these credits.
Paul Broad, CEO, AAPT said, “One of the biggest challenges faced by our customers during an emergency situation is the need to remain connected at a time when they may be away from their home phone, or their phone line is damaged.”
Mr Broad added, “This is the least we can do to make it easier for our customers to stay in touch with family and friends or to organise repairs to their home.”
