AAPT

Important things to know

  • AAPT's Standard Form of Agreement applies.
  • You must have a business phone (local and long distance) subscription. See our business phone plans for details.
  • You must have an ABN and be credit approved to set up a new account.
  • If you cancel your business phone service you'll pay an additional $10 monthly fee for your unbundled service.
  • AAPT reserves the right to limit the number of mobile services on your account.
  • An ACMA mobile number levy is applied annually and the price is determined by the ACMA. In 2008 it was $0.81 (GST exempt).

What's it all cost?

Monthly charges

  • Billed from the earlier of, the date your service is transferred to AAPT, or 2 days after your equipment and/or SIM card is dispatched to you.
  • Your subscription is billed monthly at the beginning of your billing month.
  • Unused included value can't be carried over to the next month.
$29 MOBILE CAP $29 for $100 worth of included calls and messaging.
$49 MOBILE CAP $49 for $240 worth of included calls and messaging.
$69 MOBILE CAP $69 for $500 worth of included calls and messaging.
Usage charges

  • Billed at the end of the billing month.
  • AAPT's standard rates apply up to the mobile subscription amount and after the maximum included value is reached.
  • Calls are billed in 30 second increments and are rounded up to the nearest cent.
  • Calls to special or other services are charged at higher rates and may vary according to the type and location of the call.

Exclusions

Included value excludes GPRS and data usage, international calls, national and international roaming, premium and third party services (including competition lines, adult or gaming services), and special service calls (such as operator and directory assistance, 13, 18 and 19 calls).

Equipment charges

You can bring your existing mobile phone to AAPT or pay for a new phone over 24 monthly instalments.

Paying in monthly instalments

  • You can choose to pay the outstanding balance on your mobile phone any time after the first month.
  • Your minimum monthly commitment (excluding call charges) is calculated by adding:
    • The monthly instalment amount for your new phone
    • Your monthly mobile subscription
    • Your business phone subscription plus line rental

  • You are responsible for any repair costs outside the manufacturer's warranty
  • If you cancel your mobile service or fail to pay any charges when they’re due, then the unpaid balance of the mobile phone plus any other outstanding charges are due immediately

Bringing your phone with you (BYO)

  • Your minimum monthly commitment (excluding call charges) is calculated by adding:
    • Your monthly mobile subscription
    • Your business phone subscription plus line rental
