AAPT wins 2013 ACOMM award for innovation in content delivery
AAPT emerged victorious from last night’s 2013 ACOMM Awards taking home the Innovation in Content Delivery Award for its Media Connect service.
Announced at the 7th Annual Communications Alliance ACOMM Awards Dinner, AAPT CEO David Yuile collected the award for the new service launched just a year ago.
“This is a great result for AAPT, especially for the staff who have worked tirelessly to launch and grow the Media Connect service.
“Winning the award reaffirms AAPT’s marketplace position as an independent telecommunications infrastructure organisation, with the flexibility and agility to use its extreme performance network to adapt its products and services in a changing world,” Mr Yuile said.
AAPT Media Connect enables media companies- from content owners, production houses and service providers - to work collaboratively without geographical boundaries for the connect, transfer and storage of content.

Mr Yuile accepted the award from Petroc Wilton, Group Editor of Commsday and John Stanton, CEO of Communications Alliance.
